Sue Averell

Sue Averell is a professional artist and has maintained a studio in Northern California since 1997.  Averell’s work is in 100’s of collections in the US and abroad.

Since 2002 Sue has been awarded on average 12 commissions annually by both corporate and private collectors.  Sue’s paintings are represented by several U.S. galleries.

Averell’s thick textural style is both original and engaging.

In 2007 Sue co-founded the ICB Artists Association in Sausalito, California. The Industrial Center Building has had art studios for many years and has hosted annual events for more than 40 years. Sue opened Gallery Sausalito in the heart of downtown Sausaltito in 2017.
