As an emerging tradition along Malibu's famed shores, Flower + Hewes is pleased to be a headlining participant at the 3rd annual Malibu Guitar Festival, a fabulous cultural event drawing artists and musicians from across the globe. Along with hosting numerous gallery openings during the highly anticipated weekend, Flower + Hewes had the opportunity to interview longtime friend Robby Kreiger of The Doors.

From the Malibu Times:

The Point Dume courtyard was bustling on Saturday afternoon during the “End of Summer Art Party” at Malibu Living, a satellite real estate office of Malibu West Coldwell Banker owned by Bill Chadwick that offers visitor and local information.

The evening featured a showcase of artwork from local art dealer Brekelle Lavee Long, owner of Flower & Hewes Contemporary Fine Art

and Modern Art Gallery, which includes work from artists Thomas Frontini, Walter Redondo, Doug Henders, Hessam Abrishami, Goli Mahallati, Behrooz Viliani and Robin Branham. The gallery also includes work from local artist Rachel Rubenstein, whose work has been on display at Malibu Living since it opened its doors in May.
