John Cornfield
John Cornfield was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been painting landscapes for more than fifteen years. John is currently based in Arizona where he has studied with many of the premier American landscape painters at The Scottsdale Artists' School. John's painting style is influenced by earlier Plein Air Impressionists of the West, including Edgar Payne, William Wendt, Hanson Puthuff, Franz Bischoff, and E. M. Hennings. He is also interested in the design, color, and composition of 20th century graphic arts painters such as Gustave Baumann, Sam Hyde Harris, Arthur Melville, Mary Silverwood, and Yoshida Hiroshi.
